1. Cleveland Browns potential target: Brandin Cooks

If you’re looking the trade route, then Texans wide receiver Brandin Cooks would be a good place to start. The Cleveland Browns were recently named a trade destination for the veteran wideout.

The author of this PFF piece noted how Cooks has a tendency to get traded and immediately produce for his new team–a good thing considering Kevin Stefanski’s offense doesn’t just need a spark, but rather, an explosion.

PFF believes Cooks can be had for 2022 second rounder and a 2023 third rounder. I’d love to include Odell Beckham Jr. in the trade but why would the Saints want him?

If Cleveland can’t trade Beckham, they can just cut him, this offseason, saving $15 million. Cook is slightly cheaper than Beckham, and would cost the Browns $13 million in 2022, per SporTrac. He’d be under contract through the 2024 season.
