4. Cleveland Browns rising Greg Newsome

Joe Burrow is going to throw the ball all over the place on Sunday, and he’s got a talented receiving crew, led by Ja’Marr Chase.

With the Browns secondary still carrying it’s “Hot Mess” label

Rookie Greg Newsome  showed why he was a first-round pick, being in great position to defend some Ben Roethlisberger passes, while also making a huge third-down tackle.

It was the best performance we’ve seen by a Browns corner this year, and all of it happened with Denzel Ward off the field. Ward is facing the most criticism of his career for being unable to stay healthy. When he’s been on the field, he’s made some plays, but also has inexplicably played too soft at times.

For what it’s worth, Ward was limited at practice on Wednesday, and we’ll just have to see how the practice weeks progresses before we know if he’ll play.

Third-year corner Greedy Williams played OK vs Pittsburgh, and he’ll be challenged again by Burrow and Tyler Boyd and Tee Higgins.
