3. Cleveland Browns CB Denzel Ward
Denzel Ward’s seen his stock dip more than a few times this season, as injury and lack of production have called into questions whether the Cleveland Browns should extend the No. 4 pick in the 2018 NFL Draft.
Ward didn’t get the big pay day off one game, but this performance should be the highlight reel his agent sends the Browns.
Obviously, the pick-6 was insane. I was jumping up and down in the sands, shouting, “Run, run, run!” I’m 39. That’s the excitement of a 19-year-old drinking boot-legged Everclear from Indiana.
The play set the Browns up for the day, as Baker Mayfield and the offense were able to play with the lead, which is what this team does best.
In addition to the pick, Ward also forced two incompletions. Pretty darn good considering he was targeted four times. According to PFF, Ward posted an outstanding coverage grade of 93.1
