When it comes to naming the team’s best player, it’s probably a two-man conversation between Nick Chubb and Myles Garrett.

One could make the case for Chubb because he impacts the end of a game, just as he did again the Lions when it became clear Baker Mayfield could hit Lake Erie standing on the pier behind the Rock Hall.

Garrett is poised to set the franchise record for sacks (14), but some have questioned his ability to impact the game when the Browns really need a play.

Chubb carried 22 times for 130 yards. He also had a touchdown, coming off a pass.

If he didn’t play this game, the Browns probably would have lost. Scary thought.
