6. Cleveland Browns CB Denzel Ward

An impressive game for Cleveland Browns corner Denzel Ward, who will most be remembered for smacking Ravens running back Devonta Freeman into next Tuesday with a lick he delivered in the first quarter.

His biggest play of the game came on the last Ravens’ play, when he was there to shut down Rasod Bateman short of the first-down marker.

Ward was targeted eight times and surrendered six catches, but only for 45 yards.

The former NO. 4 overall pick has shot up the league’s cornerback rankings, with the game’s broadcasters calling him one of the top five corners in the league. A 2021 Pro Bowl selection seems like a lock at this point.

Next. 4th quarter offense can't be this bad. dark

Ward should also be the recipient of a contract extension soon, as there’s no scenario where the Browns don’t try and retain him.
