McLaughlin missed another kick against the Ravens, continuing a three-game streak in which he’s missed a field goal attempt. Looking back further, he’s missed an attempt from the 40-49 range in five of his last seven games.

According to ESPN, McLaughlin’s 75 percent conversion rate ranks 28th in the NFL, while his 96.7 percent success rate on extra points ranks 11th.

The Browns will have to ride or die with McLaughlin, and that’s a scary proposition. Legend Phil Dawson is the expert on kicking in December, and in particularly, at Browns Stadium. He’s long stated that you find out if you have a kicker by how he performs in December.
