5 Cleveland Browns whose stock is down after Raiders heartbreaker
4. Cleveland Browns DB M.J. Stewart
Again, cracking on M.J. Stewart doesn’t make me feel good, just like criticizing Hance and Dunn doesn’t feel pleasant.
You’re forced into a situation, you’re a professional, and you give it your best. That’s all we can hope for, anyways.
Alas, Stewart may not be a regular, but he’s played before…in big games, too! Remember that Pittsburgh miracle? He was there, playing a lot.
Stewart got victimized on that ugly pass interference penalty early in the game, which gifted the Raiders 40 yards.
According to PFF, he was responsible for giving up 73 receiving yards on top of the penalty.
Not one of the Browns’ defensive back allowed more than 20 yards in coverage.
