Cleveland Browns nab stud WR, K in 2022 post Senior Bowl mock draft
NFL Draft, Round 1, Picks 6-10
6. Panthers, Ahmad “Sauce” Gardner, CB, Cincinnati
Scary to think to that if this pick comes to fruition, Ahmad Gardner will be playing opposite of 2021 first-rounder, Jaycee Horn
7.Giants, Treylon Burks, WR, Arkansas
Saw a mock that had a tackle going to the Giants because Daniel Jones needs help. With Andrew Thomas really taking a step forward in 2021, New York needs to get Jones help–help catching the ball! If you’re a Browns fan, that’s one off the board.
8. Falcons, Malik Willis, QB, Liberty
Falcons hold onto Matt Ryan one more season so Malik Willis can sit in the incubator. He impressed mightily at the Senior Bowl and his stock is up. There was talk of Willis falling to the second, but his performance during the Senior Bowl practice week probably assures he goes on day one.
9. Broncos, Ikem Ekwonu, OT, NC State
Denver needs a quarterback, but no, Kenny Pickett isn’t going here, or at least, he shouldn’t be going here, because he can’t win in year one.
The Broncos get their QB via trade or free agency, which means they turn the card in on offensive tackle, Ikem Ekwonu.
10. Jets, Kyle Hamilton, S, Notre Dame
Pound-for-pound, he might be the best player in the draft. Jets fans will hate the pick, so you can book Roger Goodell calling his name for New York. They’ll learn to love him in NYC, as Hamilton has the potential to be a special player.
