2. Cleveland Browns must Re-sign Jadeveon Clowney

The Browns finally found another force to put opposite of Myles Garrett, and while Jadeveon Clowney isn’t an elite pass rusher, he did turn a nifty season, recording 9.0 sacks.

Clowney signed an $8 million deal this offseason that was bumped up to around $10 million thanks to incentives. If the Browns could get him to sign a similar pact for one or two years, Andrew Berry should jump all over the deal.

That’s especially true with the team’s need at wide receiver in the draft. No second-round end is going to step in and start on day one. Sign the more-than-capable Clowney so resources can be allocated to the wideout spot come draft day.

As for Clowney–injuries are a concern, but at least last year’s record was something to build off of. Clowney played in 14 games this past season, but one of those misses was due to COVID.
