4. Cleveland Browns must get a kicker

Chase McLaughlin stumbled down the stretch, bringing into concern the future of the position. Throughout the AFC playoffs, Browns fans watched the play of Bengals quarterback thrive, and that wasn’t the only headache inflicted on envious members of the Dawg Pound.

The Bengals found a kicker who is money int he clutch, invaluable in the NFL with so many games coming down to the final drive.

For the season, McLaughlin was 15-of-21– 71.4%. In his final eight games of the season, he was an ugly 4-of-8–50%.

With some extra draft picks coming their way, I had the Browns taking a kicker in the upcoming draft. It’s copying what the Bengals did, as they selected Evan McPherson in the 5th round of the 2021 draft.

If this strategy helps find your kicker, who can be so valuable at times, then who cares? It’d be draft pick well spent.
