The Cleveland Browns traded for Deshaun Watson in a move that will dictate the franchise’s fortunes throughout the remainder of the ’20s.

Watson’s off-the-field troubles are well documented, but from a football standpoint, the Browns accomplished what they set out to do: Upgrade the quarterback position.

Baker Mayfield played hurt for most of 2021, and how much the injury to his non-throwing shoulder affected his play will always be lost to the annals of Browns “What if” history.

Injury or not, the passing game was a disaster last season, as competing a touchdown pass to a wide receiver seemed as hard as achieving absolute zero.

Fixing the issue was of obvious concern to the front office and it’s still a surprise the organization swung so high on Watson.

So here’s three players whose stocks are booming now that Watson is a member of the Browns.
