S Jaquan Brisker

I’m a Penn State fan, so it’s not surprising that I’m putting Jaquan Brisker on the list. The Browns need help at defensive end, defensive tackle, linebacker, and safety, and Brisker could be an instant starter on defense. The team doesn’t have enough safeties worth putting out there, and Brisker could be an instant impact player. That is if he’s still on the board at pick 44.

LB Leo Chenal

I’m willing this into existence. The Browns need Leo Chenal’s pass-rushing ability and if he’s there at pick No. 44, Chenal would be a wonderful addition to the defense. He’s an instant game-changer at the edge. He can play inside, outside, or on the line of scrimmage, and with Myles Garrett and Chase Winovich’s versatility, the Browns’ defensive front seven could be better than anyone thought possible.

LB Chad Muma

If the Browns don’t land Leo Chenal, the team still needs to look at the linebacking position long-term. The Browns locked up Anthony Walker to a four-year deal but it’s for peanuts. It’s always possible he demands more money and if that does happen, will the Browns re-work the deal? Will they even have money to? Not only that but Sionne Takitaki is heading into the last year of his deal and who knows if he’s done enough to earn a second one in Cleveland.
