44th pick S Grant Delpit

Grant Delpit hasn’t really gotten a fair shake due in part to his rookie year. He was severely injured during camp and while he came back in 2021, he’s not looked anything like the starter that so many fans believed he’d be.

He’s not done by any means, and that injury gave him a few extra years to prove he can play at this level still. Plus, there’s room at safety this year for him to earn a spot, as Ronnie Harrison isn’t the long-term answer. If Delpit gets cut it’ll be a shock and a sign that he’s done in the league for good.

160th pick  C Nick Harris

I don’t think Nick Harris is going to win the starting job for the Cleveland Browns and I think he’s likely to be cut sooner rather than later. That said, I don’t think that’s going to happen until 2023 at the earliest. He could also just not be renewed after his deal expires following the 2023 season.

Harris has the chance to earn his spot, however. If he can win the 2022 center competition then he may be able to prove he’s developed enough to warrant a second contract. If he doesn’t earn the starting job, he could be cut as soon as the end of August.
