3 big winners from Cleveland Browns OTAs heading into 2022 minicamp

In at least one drill,  rookie fourth-round pick Perrion Winfrey got to lineup with the starters. It’s significant because all of the defensive tackles were in attendance.

The Oklahoma product won’t start the season atop the depth chart, but he’s going to be given a chance to win the job and very well could be starting opposite Jordan Elliott by Opening Week.

He’ll likely be competing with Taven Bryant and Tommy Togiai for reps and even it he doesn’t win the job, look for all of these players to earn snaps throughout the season.

Winfrey had 11 tackles for a loss, which included 5.5 sacks in his final season with the Sooners.

He endeared himself to the fan base by making a passionate video after being drafted, stating what he was going to bring to the Browns.
