Browns Week 13: Win at Texans (6-6)

Talk about another team that could’ve used Baker Mayfield. It makes no since to me that they would go with Davis Mills when Mayfield is readily available. Houston could’ve brought him back in initial trade for Watson, too.

But, when you’re tanking, you go with Mills as your QB1, and that’s clearly what the Texans are trying to do. They’ll be picking high with their draft picks and have the Browns’ first rounders the next two seasons.

And if Watson is gone for the year, that 2023 Cleveland first-rounder will be somewhere in the teens.

Cleveland gets the laugh here, though, with Brissett picking up win No. 6 and keeping the Browns in the playoff picture.

Browns Week 14: Loss at Bengals (6-7)

I don’t anticipate the Bengals to take the league by storm. Don’t misunderstand, though. I think they’re going to contend, I just think it will take them a little while to really get cooking.

They should be reaching their peak just as the Browns role into Paul Brown Stadium for this crushing loss.
