The Bad

Kevin Stefanski’s play-calling

I’ll never get over the Cleveland Browns not kicking that afield goal and instead going for it on fourth down. Why won’t I get over it? Tyler Bass single-footed beat the Browns with six field goals. The Browns and Bills both scored two touchdowns, but the Bills made sure to capitalize on field goal opportunities and didn’t try to be cute and do quarterback sneaks. And for the love of god, stop using Jacoby Brissett like he’s a Crash Test Dummy. The man needs Deshaun Watson back just so he can soak in an ice bath for 10 days straight.

The run game

I never thought I’d see the running game fall apart as it did. The Browns tried to rely on Nick Chubb and gave him 14 carries but he only had 19 yards and just for 1.4 yards per carry. We can say that it was the o-line until we’re blue in the face, but Kareem Hunt looked the best he did all year, even with limited handoffs, so that’s not the case at all.

The offensive line

Losing Ethan Pcoci didn’t help but the offensive line has struggled all season compared to past years. Part of it is the declining and inconsistent play at both tackles, and having a guard move over to center in Hjalte Froholdt didn’t help things. He played admirably but the entire line had their issues for largely the second week in a row.

Next. Andrew Berry not doing anything to improve the defensive mid-season is a fireable offense. dark
