The Bad

The defense the rest of the game

Geeze, what were the last three quarters? Penalties, tackling issues, and just brain lapses. Myles Garrett was really solid and got himself two sacks, but the rest of the defense did next to nothing. Though, shoutout to Denzel Ward, who took a man’s soul on a perfect form tackle.

Deshaun Watson’s decision making

I thought I was watching the movie “Happy Feet”. All Watson wanted to do was dance around in the pocket or run. It felt like he rarely set his feet to throw. This did pay off from time to time, but most of the time it resulted in the defense getting to him. The man already has two bad knees, the last thing he needs are three 300+ lbs men grabbing him and taking him, twisting him, and yanking him to the ground where his knees could pop. Watson made some really silly decisions where the team was lucky that they worked; like when Watson hit Donovan Peoples-Jones in the 4th as he was falling to the ground. Those will bite the team in the butt.

The Offensive Line

I’m pretty sure every one of the Cleveland Browns’ starting offensive linemen committed a penalty at some point today. Some of them really messed up with several false starts. The offense knows the snap count, that’s simply inexcusable for a linemen to mess up that badly. And that often.

Honorable Mention: Jadeveon Clowney’s vision

How do you not tackle (or even try to tackle) the man with the ball when he’s standing right in front of you and literally in your personal space?
