Trade 2

Sometimes, you really wish the NBA had a trade option like the MLB’s. They don’t care if the salary matches, just ship, and swap all day long. It’s great. See, the ideal trade is Isaac Okoro for Bogjan Bogdanovic straight up. Okoro has shown some offensive talents over the last month that many, myself included, never thought he’d develop.

He’s still not a good offensive player, but in a year or two, he may be a 10-point-per-game kinda guy. His defense is, however, fantastic. Not only that but when in transition, Okoro is deadly. Few players have his speed or strength, which allows him to be a fantastic finisher.

Not only that, but he allows the Pistons to mature without having to artificially jump-start the team’s competitive era. He can grow and mature naturally with the rest of the squad. Cedi Osman and Raul Neto are simply in the deal to make the money work and frankly, I would rather not lose Osman.

Or Neto at this point. He’s been very solid and we have no idea what Ricky Rubio is going to look like upon his return.

I don’t want to make this deal, as I don’t want to lose those two, but I promised three trade suggestions and so here’s No. 2.
