85. WR Adam Thielen

The Cleveland Browns need help at receiver and while we suggested some tight ends to help expand the passing game as well, we also have to point out that there are some receivers who can do the job. Adam Thielen was an All-Pro caliber guy during his prime but recent injuries have derailed his career a bit.

He’s older, he’ll be 33 years old to start the 2023 season, but he’s still a good route runner and has great hands. He’s not going to beat you over the top anymore, but he’s still good enough to be an underneath guy. Someone you can put next to Amari Cooper, and watch them work off one another.

He’s not a No. 1 anymore, nor a No. 2, but if the Browns are content with Donovan Peoples-Jones as their second starter, Thielen could be a great third receiver for the Browns heading into 2023. He’s the top safety-net receiver that the Browns will need to throw to on occasion. Someone with shifty hips and good hands. The Browns don’t have a guy that can be described as “sure-handed”. Cooper and Peoples-Jones do have a case of the drops every now and again. Having a guy who can run a short route and get you a first down is what the team is lacking at the moment.

Thielen can recitfy that.
