Don’t let the lack of college in the header confuse you, Andrei Iosivas is a potential hidden gem in the draft. The Princeton wide receiver is one of the smartest in the game at his position or in all of football. The Browns have a bit of a track record with Ivy League guys as both head coach Kevin Stefanski and GM Andrew Berry graduated from Ivy League schools. Penn for Stefanski and Harvard for Berry.

Iosivas is a Princeton man and is looking to move to the NFL and become a pro. He’s got great speed, clocking in at a 4.43 for his 40-time, and was a deep threat for the Tigers. In his senior year at Princeton, he put up 943 yards receiving and seven touchdowns.

PFF gave him an 86.3 for his receiving skills, and Draft Buzz speaks highly of his route-running abilities and hands. All of his negatives come down to “didn’t play against great opponents” but how often does that actually matter? If a player plays well, he plays well.

The Browns need a guy like Iosivas, who is tall (6’3), big (210), and fast. The Browns have one a great job of taking receivers from “good” schools who haven’t panned out. Why not buck the trend and just draft someone who is known for being good at the sport?
