3 big moves the Cleveland Cavaliers could probably swing this offseason

Klay Thompson
There are going to be some who freak out and act shocked that Klay Thompson could be had for such “minimal” returns, but keep in mind you aren’t trading for someone’s legacy, but their current value and Thompson is currently no All-Star caliber player.
He’s 33 years old and the Golden State Warriors want him to take a pay cut. If you think any of that says “elite player” anymore, you’re dead wrong. All you have to do is look at his efficiency in the playoffs this year to know he can no longer be the No. 2 on an NBA Championships team.
He has to find value and worth as a third or fourth scorer eventually and considering he’ll be 34 years old by the time the 2023-2024 playoffs start, the Warriors would be wise to get what they can for him, and being the next era in Warriors basketball.
For the Cavs, they would demand far less from Thompson than the Warriors and would probably give him what he wants in a contract over a short-term deal. Two, maybe three years tops. He can come in, play against small forwards where he’ll still have a slight edge in quickness, and provide some constant size needed on the wing for the Cavs.
It seems unlikely that they’d move Thompson at all, let alone to the Cavs, but anything is possible in this day and age.
