Earlier today we posted a 7 Round 2014 NFL Mock Draft based on this writer’s desired picks, not what we thought the Cleveland Browns would do. Information, and misinformation, continues to make its rounds with national writers, scouts and within NFL teams as well. The information is taken in and disseminated to the general public. What we understand at this point is limited but becoming clear:
- No one is sold on any of the 3 QBs as for sure Franchise Guys.
- Jadeveon Clowney will most likely go #1 or 2, with the Falcons trading up with the Rams.
- Ray Farmer and Mike Pettine like good football players and may not be limited by position in their decisions.
- Clowney, Khalil Mack, Sammy Watkins and Greg Robinson were the stars of the Combine.
- All 4 could be selections for the Browns with Clowney at defensive end, Mack at inside linebacker, Watkins across from Josh Gordon and Robinson at right tackle.
- The Browns may be interested in a QB, or a few, outside of the top 3.
