The same mistakes and poor play resulted in the same ending for the Cleveland Browns and the Voice of the Fan is not happy no adjustments are being made.

The Cleveland Browns started like they had an idea of what to do versus the Dallas Cowboys! The first two plays got them over 60 yards on passes to wide receiver Terrelle Pryor and a trick pass play to running back Isaiah Crowell.

Then they turned back to the same old Browns. Cleveland couldn’t score inside the red zone and settled for yet another field goal. However, before the field goal, center Cameron Erving did yet another stupid thing and got thrown out of the game along with Dallas defensive end David Irving.

This helps explain why Erving never saw the field last year and only because of the roster purge is this year! He looks like another first round waste. Erving needs to be a backup at best and possibly trade bait.

Dallas quarterback Dak Prescott and running back Ezekiel Elliott took it down the field resulting in a touchdown catch by tight end Jason Witten. There was not much resistance from the weak Cleveland defense as Witten beat linebacker Jamie Collins who was nowhere in sight!

Each defense took turns holding the opposing offense so the first quarter ended with the Browns facing a third and two. They settle for the field goal attempt which kicker Cody Parkey hit the upright and fell no good. Oh for Robbie Gould!

Dallas went down the field again thanks to catches from Witten and scored on a very questionable call on Elliott’s run. His hand was out-of-bounds before crossing the goal line! Today’s referee and crew has given the Browns trouble before and as a result, I started to think if they have it in for the Browns?

By this time, the score was 14-3 Cowboys. The questionable offensive play calling continued for the Browns! Such examples were throwing passes yards short of the first down marker on third downs and no YAC for Browns’ receivers.

Cleveland was turning into a high school team while being beat up by a pro team. The Browns’ defense is shameful and at this rate won’t win a game.

Dallas wide receiver Cole Beasley scored on miss coverage and was alone by at least 10 yards in a corner of the end zone increasing Dallas’ lead to 21-3 with less than two minutes left in the half.

The Browns did show some life prior to half time as and Pryor scored on a 12 yard pass, making the half time score 21-10 Dallas. Cleveland needs to sign him to a long-term deal now.

More from Cleveland Browns

Dallas wasted no time to score again and for the first time in the second half, and again it was on an Elliott run. What was evident in the second half was the Browns’ corners missing too many tackles. That has been a usual occurrence and has yet to be corrected by the coaching staff.

The young players still need basic skills taught to them. Execution is sadly lacking! Even the announcers said that the lack of tackling is coming from frustration on the Browns team. There is no change in Cleveland’s culture; Only frustration and lack of effort, especially on defense.

It’s a sad, sad group of overwhelmed and talent lacking players. Needless to say the second half was worst than the first and they must be bewildered. The Browns’ offensive line is next to useless. It’s no wonder they average a quarterback hurt a game!

There is no progress shown from game one to game nine. The same mistakes are still happening that happened in preseason. It makes no difference if the “regulars” are healthy or not.

Everyone was healthy for this game except quarterback Robert Griffin III and we know he’s not the answer. In conclusion, today’s final score is Cowboys 35-Cleveland 10 as the Browns drop to 0-9.
