#26 – Ryan Shazier

As we discussed above ILB could fall down the list but with Shazier still on the board they find a finishing piece to their front 7. Shazier can cover tight ends and running backs as well as rush the passer and stop the run. He is a complete linebacker that can allow Pettine to play him all over the field and feel comfortable having him in as a 3 down linebacker next to Dansby whose strength is stopping the run. While a wide receiver, cornerback or offensive lineman could also fit here Shazier’s talent makes it a no brainer.
