Rams trade Sam Bradford and #13 for #4

The Rams would then have picks 2 and 4 to address whatever needs they see fit. They would have their pick of QBs at #2, sounds like Manziel is their thought process as well, and then either a receiver or tackle to protect him at #4. Could the Rams be thinking about reuniting Manziel and Mike Evans? Bradford hasn’t proven as much as the team would like and if he struggles this year they would look to move on from him next year. Instead they take advantage of the gift pick from the Redskins in order to make the move now and be aggressive. His contract is tough for other teams to swallow so moving up 9 picks in a great draft might be the best option.

More from Cleveland Browns

The Browns get a QB that only a couple years ago was seen as the next top flight one in the league. Bradford has shown spurts of success in the league but has also had to deal with tons of injuries and a constant flipping of offensive coordinators. The Browns get a QB they can plan around for years to come, as long as he stays healthy, and the 13th pick to continue to add talent. A 2 for 1 or 3 for 1 trade helps the Browns address more needs on their team at a high level then originally expected.

The Browns new offense would provide Bradford more protection as well as utilize his good mobility in the pocket. He is not a runner but has the skills to extend plays. Again the Cleveland Clinic can be helpful as they look to keep him healthy. Only dropping down 9 spots while adding a starting caliber QB is great value. The team could look to extend Bradford to lessen the cap hit next year after he has proven himself.

Do you think the Browns make a big move this year in the draft? Which QB would you trade for? If those are the trade options does it make Manziel, Bortles and Bridgewater look better and better in the draft? Tell us your thoughts.
