Neither Manziel or the Browns addressed the photo, but it was alarming to say the least. The arrogance and lack of awareness involved in this incident is mind blowing.
Performing an act linked to hard drug use in a public bathroom during an era where everyone has cameras is just careless. I bet Kenny Stabler and Joe Namath are sure as hell glad they never had to deal with camera phones.
This was just the beginning of Manziel’s inability to stay away from cameras while partying. Is it stupidity? Carelessness? Entitlement? Who knows. Poor Mike Pettine, the former Browns head coach could not have imagined the headache Manziel would become.
I can guarantee 31 other NFL teams were thrilled they didn’t select him after seeing this photo.
