Cleveland Will Be Surprised

Ryan Rosko

There are two scenarios that I am expecting with at least one of them becoming reality. The first is that the Cleveland Browns will not trade down again in the first. Not only do the Browns stay in the top 10, they see either Myles Jack or Jalen Ramsey fall to them. Just think of the discussion that would be going on if both players were on the board.

The Cleveland Browns must draft whichever of those players drops to them. Following the first round, Cleveland can then look to add playmakers on the offensive side of the ball, as well as adding to their offensive line.

The other scenario is that the Cleveland Browns do not draft a quarterback at all (or at least wait until the fifth round before considering selecting a signal-caller). Cleveland’s quarterback is Robert Griffin III for at 2016, but likely longer. Based off of the help he will get from Hue Jackson, Griffin is still young enough to have a very good career.

It would be great to see both of these scenarios play out, but that will be hard to accomplish. Both scenarios are realistic, but it is just a matter of how the draft falls to the Browns.
