Cleveland Browns 2019 two-round NFL mock draft: Post OBJ trade edition
By Mike Graham
6. New York Jets-Josh Allen-Edge-Kentucky-trade with Giants- The Jets play the trade game well, picking up Josh Allen. They could’ve had him him at No. 3, rather they pick up some extra assets and get him sixth. Allen can play standing up or with a hand on the ground, Gregg Williams will love the upgraded pass rush.
7. Jacksonville-Jawaan Taylor-OT-Florida-Jags stay in state, drafting Jawaan Taylor, a blind side protector for new quarterback, Nick Foles. My first tackle off the board is 6-foot-5 and a chiseled 344 pounds. He’s aggressive and physical and has the potential to solve the Jaguars’ needs at tackle for years to come.
8. Detroit-Montez Sweat-DE-Mississippi St–Montez Sweat, along with Trey Flowers gives the Lions a great one-two punch on the edge. At 6-foot-6, 245 pounds, Sweat is one of the draft’s most intriguing physical specimens.
9. Buffalo-Rashan Gary-DE-Michigan-Brandon Beane as a Panthers disciple saw the benefit to adding multiple pass rushers. Rashan Gary has a lot of tools, not great production, but here with the ninth pick, he will be hard to pass up.
10. Denver-Drew Lock-QB-Missouri-Like I said in the first mock, Joe Flacco is a stop gap. Just look at the win-loss record. He’s been average ever since winning the Super Bowl. The Broncos have an opportunity to pick up Drew Lock and have him wait behind Flacco for half the year, or let him compete and see where he stands.
