Picks 16-20

16. Carolina-Devin Bush-LB-Michigan– After the Panthers released Thomas Davis, Carolina bring in his successor to go along with  Luke Kuechly and Shaq Thompson.

17. New York Giants-Clelin Ferrell-DE-Clemson-After trading Olivier Vernon to Cleveland, Giants get younger on the edge by selecting Clelin Ferrell.

Ferrell was the 17th pick in my first mock as well, when the Browns had the pick.

It’s hard to argue with the trade the Browns made in acquiring Beckham when you look at OBJ as being your first-round pick this year. When healthy, he’s arguably the best receiver in the game.

18. Minnesota-Andre Dillard-OT-Washington St.-The Vikings were sorely lacking up front last season, so they take Andre Dilliard, the most pure pass protector in the draft.

19. Tennessee-Noah Fant-TE-Iowa-Titans have a big decision to make on Marcus Mariota, saying that, they need to keep providing weapons to see if he has it, or to give to the next guy when he gets there.

Over the past two seasons, Noah Fant totaled 1,013 receiver yards on 69 catches. He’s also accounted for 18 touchdowns.

20. Pittsburgh-Greedy Williams-CB-LSU-Steelers keep adding to the secondary to combat the Browns air attack and Greedy Williams is best corner in the draft. And how about the name? He was born to be an interception machine.

An unfortunate pick for Browns fans, as Williams would’ve looked nice in an orange helmet. He’ll be Mayfield’s problem now, though.
