Knock off Big Ben and win the Division

The Ravens get a lot of run behind quarterback Lamar Jackson, but count me as a member of the camp who doesn’t think his game is sustainable in the NFL.

The Bengals had a quiet, yet solid draft, but shouldn’t be a threat.

That leaves the Pittsburgh Steelers and Ben Roethlisberger, who just signed a three-year extension.

If the Browns want to be the man, they gotta beat the man, and as the field general, it’s up to Mayfield to get it done.

Think back to the Super Bowl commercial that had Tom Brady passing the rings to Mayfield. It was a coronation for the former No. 1 overall pick to be the next man up.

It may sound crazy, but Big Ben signing the extension is good news for Browns’ fans. How many times have we watched him steal the life force of the Dawg Pound. All the times those Steelers’ Terrible Towels invaded FirstEnergy Stadium…it’s disgusting.

And he just doesn’t get to ride off into the sunset. Baker gets to knock him out.

Right after the season, some prognosticators started coming around to the Browns, picking them to win the division. After the OBJ trade, almost everyone started predict an AFC North Title. If Mayfield plays like his projections indicate, there’s no reason to believe he can’t help the sleigh the Steelers.
