2. Excited

These Browns are exciting. That hasn’t been the case with Cleveland’s professional football team in over 10 years.

The last time the Browns were this hyped was when they were coming off a 10-6 record in 2007. That team went into camp behind Derek Anderson, and the next thing you know Braylon Edwards was running barefoot and had his foot got cut by a teammate’s cleat.

It was all off the rails after that as Cleveland resulted it’s reputation of football’s Siberia.

Well, Clevelanders are all in on the 2019 Browns, and they want their team to ooze their attitudes, which is why so many Browns’ fans, were ready to jump off the I-480 bridge when OBJ seemed less than enthusiastic about being in Berea at his introductory press conference.

Beckham said the following about his attitude toward his new team’s potential:

"“I feel like a little kid, the excitement that I have, seeing Baker, seeing the guys,” Beckham said. “We talk a lot about this offense, but this defense is something special. And this team is really coming together. The good part about it is it’s only June. Still got a whole training camp to go through. “I feel this team is really going to come together. I’m beyond excited about an opportunity I have to just start over [with] a new team.”"

Beckham then talked about how players talk about being legendary and striving for greatness, but then mentioned how he’s never been a champion. He came close with his sixth-grade basketball team, but his last-second buzz-beater was waived off. He went from elated to dejected in seconds.

He has a void he craves to fill in his athletic life and he recognizes this is his opportunity.
