3. Drew on past, hopes

Odell, again, spoke about the dream he’s living, playing with former LSU teammate Jarvis Landry.

He talked about the odds of even making it to the NFL, then how difficult it would be to even play on the same team with his friend, via ClevelandBrowns.com

"“I know I’ve talked about it before but it’s still surreal. Like I sit next to him in a meeting and I just look over and like I just pat him, you know what I mean, tell him I love him. It’s just crazy. I don’t even know how to describe it. The chances of you making the NFL are already so slim. And then the chances of you being on the same team, like I said this before, we talked about having a house next to each other, being neighbors, all that and now it’s finally here.”"

Beckham comes off as sincere and authentic as someone who knows full well that playing in the NFL doesn’t last forever. For some reason, he’s been given the opportunity to be in his current situation and his feelings reflect just how anybody else in his situation would feel.

OBJ was asked about the trade speculation surrounding his name and the Browns, and he said he became aware of it during the summer of 2018. Many Browns, including Landry and Baker Mayfield were working out in Los Angeles, and the photos of Mayfield and OBJ working out together went viral.
