3. Offensive line (inside)

Baker Mayfield was not sacked and sustained zero quarterback hits, while Chubb ran over the century mark.

Credit to the offensive line, especially on the inside. There’s a caveat, though: Greg Robinson and Chris Hubbard committed brutal penalties at crucial times that set the Browns back.

Hubbard was penalized for holding early in the third quarter and was later flagged as an ineligible man downfield. You could argue the refs over-officiated the second penalty, but Hubbard draws flags on a weekly basis. Get a reputation and mix that with a trigger happy officiating crew and you’ve got a recipe for disaster.

Robinson made sure to keep his tradition of holding penalties on the most important drive of the game. With 3:30 left in the game Robinson was flagged. From 1st and 10, the Browns went to 1st and 20. Seattle’s a Super Bowl contender. You just can’t do that to yourself.

Credit to Eric Kush, who left briefly with ankle injury but quickly returned. He hasn’t been great, but he’s better than the man behind him. If that weren’t the case, Austin Corbetter would be staring, but that’s another rant for another day.

Joel Bitonio had a big bounce back day as well, after getting embarrassed by Nick Bosa in Wek 5.
