2. Starting again

Wyatt Teller, PFF’s highest graded guard, will be out with a calf injury he sustained early on against the Colts last week.

In his place, the Browns will turn to Chris Hubbard yet again, and drew rave reviews.

The veteran seemingly has more value to the Browns as sixth-man lineman than he did as the team’s starting right tackle.

Hubbard filled in for a little bit at right tackle against the Cowboys, and the line didn’t suffer any leaks. The same is true after he filled in for Teller against the Colts.

The Browns wisely re-negotiated Hubbard’s contract to keep him around following the team’s trade for Jack Conklin. Many pundits thought the Browns would just cut him lose, rather Andrew Berry brought him back a number that’s more team friendly.

This contest will mark the first start of the season for Hubbard, so we’ll see how he does going into a game as a starter.
