2. Anthony Harris for 3rd round pick

It’s a name Browns’ fans  have heard floated their way last offseason, and considering how ugly things are in the secondary, Cleveland should be thinking about The Vikings’ safety.

Of course, Browns fans forget about Barr after Grand Delpit was selected in the second round of the draft. Unfortunately, Delpit suffered a season ending injury in training camp and won’t be on the field again until 2021.

It was reported back in August that the Vikings wanted a third-round pick for Barr. Perhaps that price has dropped now that the season is heading toward the halfway point. Barr is on the franchise tag and the Vikings look like a team that’s going to have to shake things up during the offseason.

Barr can’t sign a long-term contract because of rules associated with the franchise tag, but a long-term pact shouldn’t be ruled out. Delpit’s a nice prospect, but at this point, no one can definitely say he’ll be the safety of the future.

If Delpit and Barr ended up on the same team, defensive coordinator Joe Woods would be able to deploy three safeties, which is what I think he’d like to do–he just doesn’t have the personnel to do it.
