Three replacements for Jarvis Landry the Browns should consider.

The Browns are going to be without Jarvis Landry for at least the next three weeks. The veteran receiver is down and won’t be able to play this Sunday against the Chicago Bears. The good news, however, is that Odell Beckham is going to be active for the game.

At least as of right now.

So while it looks like Beckham and Donovan Peoples-Jones are the starters for the game, we thought we’d look at the three players we’d like to see replace Landry with and two players that just aren’t the answer in this situation.

Replace – Odell Beckham

Odell Beckham Jr. is back, unofficially. The Browns are taking on the Chicago Bears and with Landry out for three weeks, this will give the team an option at wide receiver to rely on while Landry convalesces.

The problem with Beckham centers around what he is as an athlete anymore. He’s been plagued for years with leg issues, which has surely sapped him of some athleticism. He hasn’t had a good year in four-plus seasons, and when he did play with the Browns he looked anything but elite.

Still, the Browns are low on talent right now at the position after some disappointing starts to the year for some guys, and replacing Landry with Beckham makes all the sense in the world.
