2. Browns should target David Ojabo, DE, Michigan

Like Pickens, David Ojabo is a first-round talent more likely to go on day two. Ojabo would’ve gone early in this draft, but he suffered an ACL injury during Michigan’s pro day.

If he’s still available with the 44th pick, the Browns have to consider taking him, especially since they don’t have any first-rounders after the Deshaun Watson trade.

Ojabo won’t be able to help this season, but he’ll be an edge rusher on his rookie deal when the Browns’ salary cap really goes bananas next offseason.

I’d still favor another receiver with the 44th pick, but if the Browns are able to re-sign Jadeveon Clowney, I’d be more in favor of taking Ojabo knowing he’s going to sit out.

The Browns would have a pass rusher for the present to complement Myles Garrett, while the Michigan product would be ready to take over next season.

The latest CBS mock had Ojabo going 35th to the Jets.
