Picks 6-10

6. Phoenix-Coby White-G-North Carolina-I am sure the Suns with Garland and Culver gone, would like to deal this for a veteran point guard. Here I’ll have them stay and take a need with White, his point skills are still developing, but he can shoot now, and next to Devin Booker, that’s a dangerous combo.

7. Chicago-Cam Reddish-F-Duke-The Bulls would not be thrilled with this scenario, reportedly they have promised White, and they have a clear need at point guard. The Bulls are not close to contention and take a swing at developing Reddish.

8. Cleveland-PJ Washington-F-Kentucky-Here’s where things get interesting because the Cavs can take a high-floor guy in Hunter, or Brandon Clarke, who offers a better version of Larry Nance Jr.

Cleveland could also go with Kevin Porter Jr., who the Cavs interviewed at the combine. Washington offers a high floor, but with some upside on both ends of the floor, and is crafty on both ends of the floor, a must for John Beilein’s system.

9. Washington-De’Andre Hunter-F-Virginia-Hunter gives the Wizards a better defensive version of Otto Porter who they just shipped to Chicago.

10. Atlanta-Brandon Clarke-F Gonzaga-Clarke gives the Hawks an older, high floor defensive wizard, and a finisher on the run with will fit well with Trae Young on the break.
